All details of our track and field league matches can be found on the Track and Field Page. Remember your entry must be in by 5pm on Friday to allow time to sort out the timetable and field pools - I am working this weekend so don't ask for any late entries, the answer will be no as I won't have time to sort them out!

If you want to enter our champs on the 18th June (and why wouldn't you!), you need to get your skates on and get those entries in - you have less than two days to make your mind up about what events you'd like to do!
If you've already entered and have then decided you want to do an extra event, please enter as normal and I'll refund £3.65 so you're only paying the additional £1.50 per event. You don't need to contact me, this will be done as soon as I add the entries. Finally, entries are also now open for match 3 of the league (Monday 4th July) - these will close promptly at 5pm on the 1st July so please try and get your entries in before then, thank you! Thanks to everyone involved in tonight's match, both officials and athletes. It was a busy night with lots of events, but everyone pulled together and with super teamwork from our hardworking officials we managed to get through the evening and even finish slightly ahead of schedule! Thanks also to my lovely assistant Marsha :D
Results are HERE Please email me ASAP if you spot any errors/omissions or have any queries. The Grand Prix is not calculated yet, I wait until all result queries are sorted before doing that bit! I'd like to ask our athletes, wherever possible, to contact me prior to a match if they can no longer take part. This is especially important for the A group throws, as the entry numbers for these events are strictly limited. For example, some athletes who had been moved to the B group due to oversubscription could have competed in the A group, as several group A athletes did not compete. Obviously there will be occasions where an athlete is unable to compete and for various reasons may be unable to inform us of their absence, but if there you are able to do so this is really helpful and might allow some last minute changes. The full timetable with individual heat times is now available HERE - please check it now to make sure a) I've got your entry and b) I've got your entry right! If at all possible, please check again first thing on Monday morning, in case of any last minute PB updates etc. which might change which heat you are competing in. Hopefully all will go smoothly on the night thanks to our wonderful officials, but please help them out by listening carefully for announcements on the night and knowing what heat/pool you are competing in before you go! (Note, some athletes who entered as group A discus throwers have been moved to group B as we have to stick very strictly to the 15 maximum allowed).
One last thing! There's a link at the top of that page to download a list of approved shoes - your shoes WILL be closely looked at on Monday, so please make sure you turn up in something that's legal, and maybe consider packing an extra pair just in case! Hi, due to a slight problem with the links when I add them to the website, you may have had a message saying "your connection is not private" when you tried to check Monday's results. I have updated the links so you should have no further issues (you may need to refresh your page), apologies for any concern caused (nothing bad would have happened, it's just that the harrier league website where the results are hosted doesn't have the same security certificate as this site - it's perfectly safe though).
The NEMAA Track and Field Championships are now open for entries - full details can be found on THIS PAGE
As you may know if you've looked at the start lists for Monday's match, we have had record entries this year, with 245 athletes wanting to compete in 548 events altogether. These numbers, whilst confirming the popularity of the league, are sadly not practical, as we don't have the time or the numbers of officials to cope, so we are taking the difficult decision to cut the entry numbers by various means.
Ideally I would like to encourage people to volunteer to withdraw from one (or more!) of their events, particularly if they are competing in three events, which may in itself reduce numbers to manageable levels. If this is unsuccessful, the next step would be to offer refunds for oversubscribed events. If you could offer to step down from an event, we would be very grateful - please email me at masterstracksec@gmail.com if you are able to help out. UPDATE - I mainly need some withdrawals from the javelin B and long jump events please! IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING PARKING The gates of Monkton Stadium will close at 8pm prompt - please do not park your car within the stadium gates on Wednesday if you are running in or supporting race 2, as you will not be able to retrieve your car afterwards! The car park itself will be open as usual, and there is also plenty of parking along the sides of York Avenue.
As we won't have access, unfortunately there will be no presentations after the event. Medals will be available for collection at various NEMAA events, with the first one being the track and field league on 16th May. The postcode of the stadium is NE32 5NJ and Bedeswell Park is just to the left of the gates as you leave the stadium, look for the train! (see pic below, entrance path marked with arrow) Entries are now open for this year's T&F league! Also, you can buy a Season Pass for the bargain price of £25 right now. Links for all details of how to enter, the season pass, plus timetables etc. can be found on this page. We'd hoped to utilise a new entry system this year, which will make choosing your events for each match a simple procedure, particularly as a season pass holder, but this will probably not be in place until the second match of the season - watch this space. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
