Some of you are dead keen and have already been asking about the rules for the relays at the end of the last league match. To give you time to have a think about your potential teams, here's the link to both the rules and a team sheet to download prior to the match (there will be paper copies available on the night though, so don't panic!)
Entry buttons for both Season Pass and individual payments are on the usual Track & Field page - if you have a Season Pass, please make sure you use the link given on that page, as each match has an individual link.
Please note the slightly earlier start time for the throws - note also that we will be moving entrants from A to B throws if they are not up to the required A group standard, so please make sure you check the start lists on the day of competition to see which group you are in.
Entries close on Saturday 31st July at 5pm prompt - please don't miss the deadline!
The full race timetable will be published on Sunday 1st August on the usual athlete info page
Today is "freedom day" but we still intend to hold our matches in a Covid secure manner - this is to help protect both our older athletes and the officials, as without them we wouldn't have a match at all. Unfortunately (and somewhat ironically) our lovely Covid officer Marsha is isolating, so I'm depending on you all to behave responsibly tonight and remember to maintain your social distancing etc.
You WILL be allowed into the stadium before your event, as I'll not be able to call you in due to my other duties, though I want to encourage you all to continue to do your warm-ups at the front of the stadium - just make sure you keep an eye on the time!
One final note - still no spectators, sorry. There is still too high an incidence of Covid in the region and the less people we have on site, the safer it is for everyone.

Good luck with your application and with your training and racing during the coming months.
EMAA Cross Country Secretary
Andy Talbot of Aycliffe RC has foregone competing in our T&F league this year to concentrate on his marathon efforts, and this has paid off for him with a 1st place finish in the M60 category in the Milton Keynes Masters qualifying Marathon. Andy recorded a time of 3:11:33 on Sun 27th June 2020, which has gained him the opportunity to represent England in the Masters Marathon in Chester in 2022. Well done Andy, amazing performance!
