WEDNESDAY 06 MAY 2026 BEDESWELL / CAMPBELL PARK, HEBBURN (UNDER UKA RULES) LICENCE NUMBER – 30763 DETAILS AND ENTRIES HERE
The Relay is open to all masters who are UKA registered first claim members of the club for which they are competing (non-NEMAA members are welcome). The race HQ is at Jarrow & Hebburn AC Clubhouse at Monkton Stadium Jarrow, Tyne & Wear, NE32 5NJ. There will be two races in which teams of three runners compete, each runner will complete 2 laps each of approximately 1.5km on tarmac paths around Bedeswell Park/Campbell Park. Please park responsibly at or around Monkton Stadium or future use of the venue could be jeopardised. There is lots of free parking along both sides of York Avenue on the approach to the stadium. There is a combined limit 450 for the two races. Race 1 6.30pm Women 35 & over, Men over 65 Race 2 7.15pm (approx) Men 35 – 64 Awards Race 1 First three teams F35-44 F45-54 F55+ Men 65+ Race 2 First three teams M35-44 M45-54 M55+ Entry fee £15.00 per team of three runners. Clubs may enter more than one team in an age band. Down-aging is permitted in accordance with the BMAF rules, each club must adhere to these rules or risk disqualification. Teams must be declared at least 15 minutes before each race with names and actual ages on the day specified on the official team entry sheet. Entries close Friday 01 May 2026. Saturday 2nd Feb 2019 at Rising Sun Sports Ground, Kings Road North, Wallsend, NE28 9JJ Organised by Heaton Harriers & AC in conjunction with NEMAA. (Permit no: 2019 applied for) RACE 1. 12.30pm - WOMEN & MEN O65. 3.5M, APPROX (2 LAPS) RACE 2. 1.15pm - MEN 35-64. 5.25M, APPROX (3 LAPS) NEMAA Championship awards to the first three individuals in each 5 year age group. Team awards in 10 year age groups for first 3 teams (3 to count) W35-44 W45-54 W55+ M35-44 M45-54 M55-64 M65+ Parking at Beacon Hill School and on road at side of course. No parking inside sports ground. IMPORTANT NOTE. TO ENTER THE BMAF CHAMPS YOU SHOULD BE REGISTERED WITH, AND PLACE YOUR ENTRY VIA, THEIR ONLINE SYSTEM OPEN TRACK. HOWEVER, ON THIS OCCASION THEY ARE ALLOWING OUR MEMBERS TO ENTER VIA THE NORMAL RUNBRITAIN WEBSITE.

A 10k chip timed race for club and u/a runners held under UKA laws. Minimum age 16 yrs on day of race START & FINISH . Quay Road, Quayside, Blyth, NE24 3AR ROUTE On footpath and cycle ways from Blyth Quayside to Seaton Sluice and return. Fast and flat. CHANGING & PARKING Ample parking near to start. Please follow signs and marshals instructions. Limited changing facilities in new race HQ at Port of Blyth Training Centre. AWARDS Male 1 - 8, Female 1 - 8, Teams 1 st Male & Female Generous Vets prizes in each 5 yr category. Bonus prize for new M & F course record. Race t-shirt for all finishers.
