Details are now online for the NEMAA T&F Champs in June, please check out this page for details and entries. This year our championships feature electronic timing for the first time. The 5k Champs (inc. the Eric Appleby 5k Trophy for M65+) are taking place within the champs - this displaces the 3k Champs, which will now be taking place within Match 3 on July 5th (entries opening soon). The Open Mile event is also taking place within our T&F Champs, start time 2pm, entries open to all senior and master athletes, no NEMAA membership necessary - details on the same page as given above.
All details can be found on our Track and Field Page, including individual entries (currently only for match 1) and a season pass which is valid for all matches of the season. We have taken the decision to remove the high jump from the first match due to Covid restrictions which would make the event almost impossible to hold (mat currently required to be cleaned between each athlete).
NEMAA are hoping to hold the Road Relay Champs on the 26th May at the usual location of Monkton. Of course, this is subject to change, depending on the Covid restrictions in force at the time of the race. Further details and entry form will be published on the website nearer to the date.
Covid (and Boris) allowing, the following are the provisional dates for this year's Track and Field League matches:-
Championships is due to be held on June 19th depending on whether numbers of participants will be restricted. Further details soon regarding a timetable. A Season Pass is feasible this year, but NO ENTRIES or SUBS taken on the night. We may also have to move to a pre-booked scenario, as numbers are likely to be strictly limited per match. Obviously, given the current pandemic situation, some (or indeed all) of these dates might not happen, but we are trying to be positive and hoping for the best - we know you all can't wait to get back to some proper competition!
Club entries are now open for this event - please make sure your club secretary puts a team entry in if you want to run in a team around the fantastic Thornley course in January. Full details HERE
