Info for this weekend's NEMAA XC Champs at Cramlington - directions, course map, parking etc.

​Cross Country Championships - East Cramlington Nature Reserve
Saturday 1st February 2020

RACE 1: 12.30 – Women 35 & Over and Men 65 & Over (approx 3.5 miles – 2 laps)                             
RACE 2:   1.15 – Men 35-64     (approx 5.25 miles – 3 laps)

NEMAA Championship awards to the first three individuals in each 5 year age group.                              
Team awards for the first 3 teams (3 to count) in 10 year age groups
(No team entry necessary. No team awards will be made on the day)
                                      
Race 1: F35-44, F45-54, F55+, M65  
Race 2: M35-44, M45-54, M55-64.

The Race HQ and parking is at North Moor Farm (Hartley Main Farm on Google Maps), on the A192 north of Seaton Delaval. Post code NE25 0PX. There will be a parking charge of £2.00 per vehicle. Access via the Cramlington A19/A189 Moor Farm roundabout. Go north onto the A189 (Blyth, Ashington). Follow the A189 to the A192 Three Horse Shoes roundabout. Take the 4th exit (A192 Blyth/Tynemouth/Seaton Delaval). At next roundabout take the 2nd exit (A192) to Seaton Delaval. North Moor Farm is one mile on the left.

Please note: For safety reasons there will be no access to the farm from the A192 south, cars will not be allowed to turn right across traffic into the farm. Cars travelling north from Seaton Delaval must continue past the farm, turn at the roundabout and approach from the north. The farm is for registration and parking only. There are no toilet facilities at the farm, toilets will be available on the course.

Would runners please note the following important points:

You must turn left into the parking by approaching the farm from the north. The A192 is a very busy road and turning right into the farm would not be safe.
It is extremely important that runners use the toilets provided on the course. The farm is a working food production farm and hygiene is of utmost importance. The area will be marshalled by farm staff and any deviation from this could prevent future events.
Entries will be published on this  website, if there are any problems please let us know as soon as possible by email.
Registration will be in a building adjacent to the car park.

Team entries:
Teams for both races will be made up of the first 3 runners across the line in each of the 10 year age groups. 35-44, 45-54, 55-64 and 65+.
Down-aging will be allowed subject to the following two main conditions:
Athletes down-aging must be declared on the declaration form provided before the start of their race.
Athletes can only down-age to an incomplete team. If a club has three runners in that age group an older runner cannot count in that team.
Clubs who are unsure can check the regulations in the downloads at the bottom of this page or ask on the day.
Individual awards will be presented at the nearby Keel Row on the day, teams awards will not be announced until later as we need to be out of the venue by 3pm. Travel from the farm parking to the Keel Row is only possible by car as there is no footpath and it is a very busy road.
