NEMAA is affiliated to BMAF (the British Masters Athletics Federation) and in order for NEMAA members to be able to enter England Masters, Inter-area Masters, BMAF Masters or European and World Masters events, they must be registered online with the BMAF website's OpenTrack system - and can usually only enter these events online via BMAF OpenTrack. Paper entry forms are no longer acceptable. Affiliation to BMAF is free of charge and part of your NEMAA subs.
If you are planning to enter any future England Masters, BMAF Masters, European or World Masters events and do not already have your own BMAF OpenTrack account - you will need to contact NEMAA Membership Secretary George Routledge - [email protected] - and ask for a BMAF OpenTrack account to be set up - free of charge - on your behalf. You will be asked to send proof of date of birth in the way of a scan or a photo showing the last 4 digits of your passport or birth certificate. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO SET UP AN OPENTRACK ACCOUNT ON YOUR OWN WITH THE BMAF WEBSITE. You will need to give permission for your email address to be sent to BMAF. If you are planning to enter events via OpenTrack - please do not wait until the last minute (such as the events closing date !!). PLEASE NOTE: All BMAF OpenTrack accounts will automatically lapse on January 1st each year. Membership Secretary George Routledge is the only one able to update them. Please be patient, he will update your profile ASAP after you have renewed your subs. If you are intending to use your profile to enter BMAF events early in the year please let Membership Secretary George Routledge know ASAP. New members will have a new profile set up for them shortly after joining and will be notified by BMAF as to how to access it. BMAF OpenTrack can then be used directly by paid up NEMAA members to manage some of their data and to enter BMAF events. If an OpenTrack profile has been set up for you and you are having problems with it - please contact George Routledge - please do not try to set up another profile on your own. If you have joined NEMAA and paid online via our website or with a paper form and cheque – Your NEMAA Membership Number will be sent to you. You will use this number to enter NEMAA events. If you have also agreed to be affiliated to The British Masters Athletics Federation (BMAF) we will set up an account for you on BMAF OpenTrack – free of charge – which will allow you to enter BMAF events in the future. Please can you now go to the system via the link https://bmaf.opentrack.run and press the button to signup. Once you have completed the signup form, OpenTrack will send you an email (possibly going into your junk mail) for you to confirm that the email address is correct. You can then login to BMAF OpenTrack using your email address and the password you specified. This will enable you to enter any BMAF competitions which use OpenTrack for entries and update your profile. If you intend to enter any BMAF, World or European Masters events for the first time soon - and you are not sure if you have had a BMAF OpenTrack account set up for you- please contact Membership Secretary George Routledge ASAP. You may have to send a scan or photo of your Passport or Birth Certificate showing the last four digits of the document, your full name, your date of birth, your country and region of birth so that he can confirm that your OpenTrack profile is up to date. To compete in BMAF, European or World Masters events you must respond to an Email from BMAF OpenTrack and activate your OpenTrack Account with your email address and a password of your own choosing. When entering European and World Masters events you may also get an email from them asking for a scan of your passport for extra validation. If you urgently need to access your BMAF Opentrack account or have problems please let me know ASAP Very Best Regards, George Routledge NEMAA Membership Secretary ntmmnevacsec2013 @hotmail .co .uk 07981751755 Still Confused ?
