This year’s Blaydon Race will host the NECAA North-East Road Race Championships for the first time on the event’s traditional date of 9th June. NECAA’s Road Running Secretary, Calum Johnson of Gateshead Harriers has won the prestigious race for the past four years and he is keen that other North-East club athletes join him in the event this year. We have done our best to both improve the strength and depth of the NECAA Championships whilst trying to be fair and inclusive to club members more widely. The race organiser’s decisions are final. If you are just outside the times quoted please consider submitting your details in any event as there may not be 25 runners who qualify in your category. NEMAA definitely have athletes who would reach some of the standards required above! Entries open on 1st April and close at midnight on 15th April.
