Another T&F league over!

How can it be the end of the season already?! Feels like five minutes since match 1, and here we are now after a wild and windy match 6, almost all done and dusted for another year! We do, however, still have the full Pentathlon on Sept 13th, the Throws Pentathlon on Sept 20th, and the 5,000m and 10,000m Champs also on Sept 20th to look forward to. Links to all of these events can be found on the Track & Field Page, and results from each league match, plus last night's relays, can be seen on our Results Page. 

Congratulations to the winners of the club Grand Prix - Crook & Dist Sports AC for the men, and South Shields Harriers for the women. Individual grand prix winners are welcome to collect their medals at any future NEMAA events, and your team mates are welcome to collect on your behalf as well.

I'd like to say a really big thank you to our selfless officials, who stand out in all weathers (luckily for us, last night was the worst in what was otherwise a pretty favourable season) and deal with the huge numbers of athletes that our popular league attracts. Without track judges, time keepers, and field officials, the league wouldn't exist - please remember to show your appreciation at these events for these fantastic volunteers!

A big thanks also to George Routledge who, as well as helping out with the organisation of these events, also acts as our official photographer and cake provider!
