NEMAA Open Cross Country Championships,
Rising Sun Sports Ground, Wallsend, NE28 9JJ, Feb 5th 2022
TEAM SELECTION - IMPORTANT NOTE. IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST THREE ATHLETES IN THE SAME AGE GROUP, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DECLARE, AS THE FASTEST THREE WILL AUTOMATICALLY FORM A TEAM.
Pre-declarations are welcome - full rules and pre-declaration form available here. All declarations must be received before the start of the race. The entry lists are now sorted into age categories then club groups, so you can easily see who else has entered from your own club and decide on any teams you wish to submit. Declarations can be viewed at the bottom of this page.
Please note the following rules before declaring your team:-
Please complete one form for each team you wish to pre-declare. All declarations must be received before the start of the race in question.
Remember you can pre-declare a team before or on the day, but all declarations must be received BEFORE the start of the race. Declaration form available here
MPORTANT NOTE:- You cannot override a natural age group team if one exists in your team. Please read the rules carefully on the declaration form (also shown above) before making your submission. If you declare before the day, you are still able to make changes up until the start of the race (any changes made on the day of the race should be made using the paper declaration forms which will be supplied).
Please note the following rules before declaring your team:-
- A runner can only drop down to a lower age group if there are insufficient runners in that age group to make up a team, and doing so does not split up an existing age group team.
- The age group of a team will be the age group of the youngest member of that team.
- All runners actual age groups should be recorded on the team declaration form.
- Mixed or composite teams other than those described above are not permitted.
- A runner’s individual performance will only be recognised if they compete in a race containing their age group.
- If there is no natural age group team in your club and you do not pre-declare, you will NOT be included in the team scores, even if you have a composite age group team.
Please complete one form for each team you wish to pre-declare. All declarations must be received before the start of the race in question.
